What was that flying over the Petaluma Golf and Country Club on June 25, 2016? It was the Brodie Blimp, on hand to celebrate Gary Brodie’s year as Club President and to welcome Lee Reposa as the incoming President. A large crowd enjoyed the evening; we have some photos here.

One of the activities our Club sponsors at McKinley Elementary School is the McKinley Aviation Club, founded and spearheaded by Past District Governor Ed Fullerton. Their club year ends with a field trip to the Pacific Coast Air Museum in Santa Rosa where the students get to actually experience flight. Ed sent these photos and comments from the June 4, 2016 field trip: This year sixteen students, 2 parents and 3 club advisors went flying with 4 volunteer PCAM pilots in their private aircraft. Everyone was excited and brave and for the 3rd year in a row, there were no injuries and and no upset tummies! Yahoo! Special thanks to PCAM, the pilots and volunteers for a great day! Ed

On Thursday, May 12 we skipped lunch and met instead after work. The Petaluma Yacht Club was the venue for this Club Social.
