KYNOCH, Russell Ray. Born March 22, 1920 in Petaluma, CA, and passed away January 26, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ray and Georgiana (Murphy) Kynoch and his son, Terrence Richard Kynoch. He is survived by three children: Russell Ray Kynoch, Jr., Judith Ann Zepelin, and Mary Ann Guggenheim, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Russ graduated from Petaluma High School and the University of San Francisco. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as an aerial gunner during World War II, receiving a Purple Heart. He worked in the corrugated box industry, rising to executive sales manager at Stone Container Corporation in Chicago. Russ retired to Petaluma in 1982. He enjoyed volunteering at the Salvation Army, Evergreen Nursing Home and joining the Petaluma Rotary Club. Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service, Monday, January 30, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, Petaluma. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Entombment, Cypress Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 721 So. McDowell Blvd., Petaluma, CA 94954.
