The Rotary Club of Petaluma
A Message from Jesse (Babe) Amaral
President, 2004-2005
Thank you for visiting the Rotary Club of Petaluma's web site. Our club was established in 1923 and continues today to be very active in our community.
This year Rotary is 100 years old. Our Rotary International theme is "Celebrate Rotary." The Rotary Club of Petaluma will continue to celebrate our community through ongoing successful projects like these:
- Our Crab Feed in February will provide funds for the completion of the restoring the playground equipment at Walnut Park in the heart of downtown.
- Our All Day Breakfast in May supports our Children's Christmas party where we donate clothing and toys to the less fortunate children.
- Our Literacy Program distributes a dictionary to every third grader within the Petaluma School District.
- We will also continue to take on international projects around the world.
Thank you for visiting our web site. If you would like more information about the club, please contact me or our Club Secretary, Steve Olmsted. Please join in and "Celebrate Rotary" and make Petaluma a stronger community!
