PRESIDENT TAWNY TESCONI called on BANO CUMMINGS for the Thought for the Day and she recounted a story from a 1939 Rotary magazine regarding service for others and the attitudes of youth from that era. The Rotarian who wrote the article talked about youth’s “gimme” attitude and their lack of perspective of the real world. It was a very poignant opinion that resonates in today’s world. Thank you, Bano.
We had a very special guest for lunch. George Villareal is a longtime Petaluma resident who is integrally involved in the Mexico projects with our Club.

Our group, along with other individuals, has committed time, energy, resources and love to help repair and improve the conditions at an orphanage south of Ensenada. The video was amazing and heartwarming. We got a terrific glimpse of the hard work that goes on and the camaraderie that is built through these projects. Thank you, Erik, for a great presentation.
